Who we are

NovaEcon is run by Harii Nemal and Bilal Afzal as a private tutoring and application-support service. We are based in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at contact@novaecon.co.uk or through the WhatsApp link on the site.

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the NovaEcon website, any enquiry or matching form you submit, and any tutoring, mentoring, application support or materials you receive from us. By using the site or booking a call, you agree to these terms.

What the service includes

NovaEcon provides A-Level Economics tutoring and university application support for Economics-related courses, including but not limited to Economics, Economics and Statistics, Mathematics and Statistics, Finance, Accounting and Finance, PPE, Economics and Management, MORSE, and Economics, Finance and Data Science.

Support can include one-to-one tutoring, personal statement feedback, admissions-test preparation, mock interviews, course and university shortlisting, and access to study materials such as flashcards, notes, model answers and guides. The exact mix is agreed with you before any paid work starts.

We may add, change or remove materials or services over time. We will always aim to improve what we offer, but the exact content available at any moment is not fixed.

Consultations and paid support

The first consultation is a free 15-minute call. It is a chance to understand your situation and explain how we can help. It does not create any obligation for either side to continue.

Paid support is arranged by agreement after the consultation. We will confirm the scope, frequency and price in writing before you commit. Payments are taken through Stripe or bank transfer; we do not store your card details.

Sessions are scheduled in advance. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Missed sessions without notice may be charged at our discretion.

Course Matching

Our course-matching service pairs you with a current student or recent graduate studying one of your listed UCAS choices. We do our best to match you with someone who tutors and has direct experience of the same admissions process.

Matches depend on availability. If we cannot match a choice properly, we will tell you straight away and suggest who we can match instead.

Your account

Some parts of the site may require an account in the future. When that is available, your account must use an email address you control and a secure password. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed it.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Copy, republish, sell or redistribute our materials, in whole or in part.
• Share your account or give others access to paid content.
• Scrape, bulk-download or use automated tools to extract content from the site.
• Try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or other users' accounts.
• Use the service unlawfully, or to cheat in any examination or assessment.

If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may suspend or close your access.

Intellectual property

Our guides, model answers, notes, flashcards, feedback, teaching materials, and the design and code of this site are our intellectual property. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own study while you are an active student with us. That licence does not let you redistribute them.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University of Cambridge, UCL, Imperial College London, LSE, Warwick, UAT-UK, Pearson VUE, any exam board or any other university. Any past-paper questions or official materials referenced remain the property of their respective copyright holders.

No guarantee of results

NovaEcon is a tutoring and application-support service. We do not promise that using it will improve your grades, admissions-test scores, or chances of receiving an offer from any university. We work hard to make our materials accurate and useful, but mistakes are possible. If you spot one, please tell us and we will correct it.

Availability

We aim to keep the site running and to respond quickly to messages, but we cannot guarantee that the site or our support will always be available or uninterrupted. We may need to suspend the site for maintenance, or because of problems with services we depend on.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam or admissions outcomes.

Ending your relationship with us

You can stop using NovaEcon at any time. If you have paid for a block of sessions and wish to cancel before they start, contact us and we will refund any unused sessions at our discretion. Once sessions have been delivered, they cannot be refunded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and make significant changes clear on the site. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
